GALÁNTA
Galánta is a luxurious Donegal tweed yarn, spun in Ireland from merino wool, cashmere and mulberry silk.
Its name comes from the Gaelic word for “elegant” — a fitting description for a softer, more refined take on traditional Donegal tweed.
The characteristic coloured flecks give the yarn its unmistakable Donegal look, while cashmere and silk add softness and a beautiful drape. Like traditional Donegal yarns, Galánta reveals its true character after washing, when the fibres bloom and the fabric becomes softer and fuller.
